Many Visa-Exempt Travelers to Canada Still Surprised by New Electronic Travel Authorization Requirement

Some visitors who are coming to Canada are still facing problems with the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). This is an electronic document which is required from the majority of the visa-exempt visitors coming to Canada.

During the holiday period, many people faced delays in their travel plans or were not able to board the flight because they did not knew about the requirement of eTA. This electronic authorization was first introduced in August 2015, and it became compulsory for most of the visitors who can travel to Canada without a visa.
