October 4th Express Entry draw invited a total of 2,801 candidates to apply for permanent residency of Canada with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The cut-off for the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points stood at 438.

Candidates in the pool who had scored 438 or more CRS points were issued the Invitation to Apply (ITA) for this Express Entry draw.

Aspiring immigrants who want to settle permanently in Canada need to enter the Express Entry pool and obtain a CRS score. They are required to be eligible in one of the economic immigration programs:

·         The Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC)

Activities to Deport Illegal Immigrants from US Take Speed

The U.S. Equity Department is creating arrangements to briefly reassign migration judges from around the nation to 12 urban communities to accelerate expulsions of illicit settlers who have been accused of wrongdoings, as indicated by two organization authorities.

What number of judges will be reassigned and when they will be sent is still under audit, as per the authorities, however the Justice Department has started requesting volunteers for arrangement.

The focused on urban areas are New York; Los Angeles; Miami; New Orleans; San Francisco; Baltimore, Bloomington, Minnesota; El Paso, Texas; Harlingen, Texas; Imperial, California; Omaha, Nebraska and Phoenix, Arizona. They were picked on the grounds that they are urban communities which have high populaces of unlawful workers with criminal allegations, the authorities said.

A representative for the Justice Department's Executive Office of Immigration Review, which regulates movement courts, affirmed that the urban communities have been recognized as likely beneficiaries of reassigned migration judges, yet did not expound on the arranging.

The arrangement to increase extraditions is in accordance with a promise made every now and again by President Donald Trump on the battle field a year ago to oust more unlawful foreigners required in wrongdoing.

The Department of Homeland Security requested the judges' reshuffle, an unordinary move given that migration courts are controlled by the Department of Justice. A Homeland Security representative declined to remark on any arrangement that has not yet been settled.

Under an official request marked by Trump in January, unlawful foreigners with pending criminal cases are viewed as needs for extradition whether they have been discovered blameworthy or not.

That is a takeoff from previous President Barack Obama's approach, which organized expulsions just of those sentenced genuine violations.

The strategy move has been censured by supporter bunches who say it unjustifiably targets settlers who may at last be cleared and don't represent a risk.

The solution for aspiring immigrant to settle in any developed country such as USA, UK, Canada or Australia is through legal means. Apply for immigration to any country in a free and fair manner and you will not face any problem.

Donald Trump’s Immigration Plans May Stall His Promise to Boost Economy

Donald Trump’s Immigration Plans May Stall His Promise to Boost Economy

WWICS   President-elect Donald Trump promises to increase the growth rate of America two times during his term in office. But, will he really be able to deliver on his promise?

What is more, Trump is not talking about boosting the economy on a temporary basis. His promise is to provide a long term increase in the economy of the country at the rate of 4% per year.

The growth rate of America at present is 2% and according to economists, the best way to do is to get more people working for the country and by making people who are already working more productive.

Tax cuts and government spending will stimulate the economy but only for a short period of time and may result in inflation.

However, bringing in more labor force to work for the economy is a challenge. In the first place, it means fighting the demographic tide.

According to Robert J. Gordon, an economist at the Northwestern University, most of the people from baby boom era will be retiring. At present, there is a shortage of workers in the construction industry and the like.
The only quick solution that is available is to bring in immigrants as workforce that will replace the retiring baby boomers.

The benefits from immigrant workforce are clearly evident if we take a look at the past two decades. Nearly half of the growth in the past twenty years has come from immigrant labor force.

But, Donald Trump who is preparing to deport millions of immigrants may affect the economy in a bad manner. It remains to be seen on what basis he will bring an annual growth of 4% when there are too few hands to work.

According to economists, the rhetoric from Donald Trump was very negative during the election campaign, but now that he has won the election and is in governing mode, he has to contemplate and analyze reality.
If Donald Trump wants to give a 4% annual growth rate than he will need more hands, and for that he will have to call more immigrants to the country.

Massive Increase in Canadian Immigration Recommended by Government Advisory Group

An external advisory group has asked the government of Canada to substantial increase the number of immigration to the country. The advisory council on economic growth stated that the immigration to the country should be increased by around 50% to an annual intake of 450,000 new immigrants over five years.

The advisory group also mentioned that entry of entrepreneurs and skilled workers should be made easier. As per the group, immigration is being considered as part of the work to boost the economy in the short and long term.

The Magic Figure of 450,000 New Immigrants

The group which comprises of 14 members includes academics, venture capitalists, business executives and investors. In case the recommendations from the advisory group are implemented by the government, it will continue with the task that was started nearly 12 months ago when it took office.

It has been reported that immigration number has been the highest in the recent history, as more than 300,000 new immigrants were called to the country. This number is nearly 1/3 higher than previous year when nearly 240,000 new immigrants. In the past three decades this has been the fastest growth till now.

Apart from all this, it has been specifically mentioned by immigration minister of Canada, John McCallum, which the country needs to overcome shortage of labor and the demographic challenges that are related to aging population.

The Liberty Party of Canada which is in government at present is been seen as supportive to multiculturalism, diversity and immigration. Ever since the Liberal party has taken office a large number of entrepreneurs, skilled workers and refugees have come to the country.

Considerable Decrease in Processing Time
In the next few weeks, it is expected that a new immigration plan will be revealed by the government for the year 2017. There is high probability that many improvements will be made in the current immigration system resulting in considerable decrease in processing time.

Measures that have already been taken by the government of Canada has already yielded positive results, the processing time of permanent residency visa has reduced considerably. This has facilitated in more annual intake of new immigrant.

Apply Early for US Visas: Immigration Officials Advise Indian Students

Aspiring students in India wishing to realize their study overseas dreams in the most favored destination country, the US, are being advised to apply for US visas at the earliest by the United States-India Educational Foundation and US immigration officials. The officials are of the belief that applying for visas early will give students enough time to prepare for their personal interview sessions.

Vice Consul of the Consulate General of the US, Jessica Pfleiderer stressed upon the need for aspiring students to come prepared well so as to clear the US visa interview.

"Applying early for US visa is the key to ensure a hassle free process for the students, who want to study in the United States," said Pfleiderer about the immigration process.

Adding to that she said for US Student visa applications, the period stretching between April and July is the peak season, which means those applying as early as possible will have more time to come prepared for their interviews, hence increasing their chances of getting US Student visa.

Emphasis is laid upon getting to know the interviewee better through the interview session rather than the information given in the documents of the applicant. This is why it is highly imperative that the applicants come all prepared for the interview.

Pfleiderer also warned student visa applicants to submit only real documents since presenting fake documents could make them permanently ineligible for a US visa, thus will be unable to immigrate to the US, ever.

Citing the recommendation made by the immigration officials, Lt. Col. B S Sandhu (Retd.), CMD of WWICS, the World’s Largest Immigration Group said, "Students aspiring to reach the US must apply for visas at the earliest so that they have enough time to prepare for the interview.
