Alberta Reaches Nomination Allocation for the Year 2017

The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program, one of the Provincial Nominee Programs from Canada has reached its maximum allocation limit for 2017 of 5,500 nomination certificates.

According to AINP, all the applications that have been submitted already will be processed, however, no more certificates will be given out till 2018.

It has been told by AINP that till December 4th, more than 3,050 applications were in the line for processing and assessing.

Experts are of the view that Alberta will get benefit from the higher allocations for the year 2018 due to the multi-year immigration plan announced by the federal government on November 1st.

As per plans from the federal government, the target for Provincial Nominee Program has been increased for 2018 to 55,000. This number is 8% more than the target which was set by the government  for the year 2017 of 51,000.

Alberta can send nomination to prospective immigrants through the AINP, with experience and skills that fulfill labor market demands of the province. Alberta is the largest producer of oil and gas products in the country.

2018 will have New Express Entry Stream

Two new provincial nomination streams will be introduced by Alberta in the coming year 2018 – The Alberta Express Entry Stream and the Alberta Opportunity Stream.

The Alberta Opportunity Stream will be a combination of the present Employer-Driven Stream and the Strategic Recruitment Stream and 11 sub-categories. All this will be consolidated into one set of eligibility criteria.

A limited number of candidates will be nominated by the AINP under the Alberta Express Entry Stream from the Express Entry pool of the federal government. The federal government includes candidates in three economic immigration classes – the Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC), the Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC) and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

Express Entry candidates who are nominated under the Alberta Express Entry Stream get an additional 600 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System which greatly improves their chance to receive the Invitation to Apply in the subsequent Express Entry draw.

Activities to Deport Illegal Immigrants from US Take Speed

The U.S. Equity Department is creating arrangements to briefly reassign migration judges from around the nation to 12 urban communities to accelerate expulsions of illicit settlers who have been accused of wrongdoings, as indicated by two organization authorities.

What number of judges will be reassigned and when they will be sent is still under audit, as per the authorities, however the Justice Department has started requesting volunteers for arrangement.

The focused on urban areas are New York; Los Angeles; Miami; New Orleans; San Francisco; Baltimore, Bloomington, Minnesota; El Paso, Texas; Harlingen, Texas; Imperial, California; Omaha, Nebraska and Phoenix, Arizona. They were picked on the grounds that they are urban communities which have high populaces of unlawful workers with criminal allegations, the authorities said.

A representative for the Justice Department's Executive Office of Immigration Review, which regulates movement courts, affirmed that the urban communities have been recognized as likely beneficiaries of reassigned migration judges, yet did not expound on the arranging.

The arrangement to increase extraditions is in accordance with a promise made every now and again by President Donald Trump on the battle field a year ago to oust more unlawful foreigners required in wrongdoing.

The Department of Homeland Security requested the judges' reshuffle, an unordinary move given that migration courts are controlled by the Department of Justice. A Homeland Security representative declined to remark on any arrangement that has not yet been settled.

Under an official request marked by Trump in January, unlawful foreigners with pending criminal cases are viewed as needs for extradition whether they have been discovered blameworthy or not.

That is a takeoff from previous President Barack Obama's approach, which organized expulsions just of those sentenced genuine violations.

The strategy move has been censured by supporter bunches who say it unjustifiably targets settlers who may at last be cleared and don't represent a risk.

The solution for aspiring immigrant to settle in any developed country such as USA, UK, Canada or Australia is through legal means. Apply for immigration to any country in a free and fair manner and you will not face any problem.

This new planning will enable Canadian companies to bring in highly skilled workers from other countries efficiently and quickly. At present, progress is still being made to start the hiring as per the new regulations for two-week processing time.

A Global Talent List consisting of occupations that are in high demand is being created after having consultation with key stakeholders and labor market experts. It is expected that this list will be published in advance of the launch on June 12.

He stated that the high growth Canadian technology firms will be helped by the Global Skills Strategy  and will make it easier and faster for them to hire the right talent from overseas.

The most successful innovators of Canada have welcomed that the new turnaround standard of two-week for work permit applications. The have also appreciated the continuous effort made by the federal government in supporting the tech sector of Canada and streamlined the applications process.

Donald Trump Soften Stance on Immigration

It is an often heard scenario across the world. Politicians promise something when they woe people for voting and their stance change when they are elected.

There are indications that President-elect Donald Trump will pull back on some of the immigration policies which he had proposed as a candidate.

Many of the things remain the same, including strongly enforcing the immigration laws that were promised by Trump. He still wants to build a wall that will divide southern borders of United States from Mexico.
However, Donald Trump has become soft on removing 11 million undocumented immigrants that are living in the country.
At the start of his election campaign, he proposed to block all Muslim immigrants had been changed just before the November 8 voting. As per the new proposal, new immigrants will be carefully vetted before they enter the country.

Donald Trump has also indicated that he may cancel some of the executive order from President Barack Obama, but also indicated that he is ready to compromise on certain issues.

During the election campaign, one immigration order from Obama is often talked about by Trump. It is about nearly 700,000 immigrants who are living illegally in the country and who entered US as children and were given the permission to work legally.

These people are at times called ‘dreamers’. In a recent discussion held with Time magazine, Trump showed his soft side in this issues and talks of coming out with a way that will make people proud and happy.

Donald Trump added that these people came to this country at a very young age, they have gone to school here and have been good students, and they have worked here and have wonderful jobs.

During the election period, Trump said that he will remove all the illegal immigrants, now he moulds his thoughts and says that only undocumented immigrants will be removed particularly those who have committed crimes.
This is something which will not be easy for Trump to implement as during Obama administration some countries refused to accept the return of their citizens.
